The Misrepresentation Clause:
During the sale of any puppy you should disclose that you are a breeder up front. If you misrepresent yourself as a pet home and we find that you are in fact a breeder, all money's will be non-refundable, and we shall stop sale at once, or void contract, whichever is appropriate for the situation. That means you loss all money you have placed on that puppy, AND the puppy, or pay an additional fee for breeding rights. This penalty is enforced to keep you from wasting the time of the breeder and the puppy, whom lost time getting into it's new home. However, if you are forth right, we will honor all contract privileges and uphold full AKC rights to you. You must be honest. We have nothing against breeders, but many dishonest breeders will misrepresent themselves to acquire a puppy to breed without saying this is their intentions, and avoid paying a breeders fee for full AKC rights. Even after a sale, should we find you are a breeder and did not disclose this information, we will void your contract, and you will then take full responsibility for that puppy's health solely, or loose said puppy and/or the funds involved in said sale.
DNA- All our studs are DNA certified.
If you have purchased a stud or potential Stud, you must DNA that puppy BEFORE using him for breeding. AKC rules state that any male used for seven litters MUST be DNA' ed. By DNA'ing your Puppy BEFORE you breed, should ANYTHING be incorrect, the mistake can be caught and fixed promptly, by re-testing or replaced if necessary. If you Do Not DNA before breeding, any disruptions, or discrepancies that may occur including any babies made without DNA certificate is solely the responsibility of the Studs buyer. DNA Certificates must be issues a minimum of 90 days PRYOR to the birth of any litters. We only take responsibility for the puppy that WE sell You,, Not for puppies bred outside DNA Certification of said father.

Cantrell Family Pets regrets that a stern contract is being implemented, However, It has come to our attention, by the advice of others, that we as breeders can not possibly afford to raise and give good care to our pets if we are at a loss to those who feel our time, and efforts are "easy work" and there for we can afford to give them a new puppy free. I assure you, it is more then an eight hour day, no vacations, paid or otherwise, we do not get sick days, or holidays. We can not give our babies away to scammers. Some people force Breeders into having to have contracts just as Doctors are in need of malpractice insurance, not so much for the honest people, but for the few people who tend to want it all, Just not really want to work or pay for it. It is always easiest to blame the breeder, and not except responsibility for mistakes one makes on their own. We maintain these pets daily, special care during breeding and pregnancy, and eight weeks or more in socializing, medicating, cleaning up after, grooming, feeding, and extra expenses on just keeping them, to get them to you in top form. Our total profit is usually small.
Breeders have gotten bad reputations from a HANDFULL of really seedie folks. When the truth is that most breeders who are responsible, work VERY hard and strive for the very best, These people are in it to spread joy. Honestly,The smiles on the faces of the Family's they service, and to maintain their own beloved pets are payment in itself.
Although we are honest and easy to work with, not all people subscribe by this in their daily lives. We Apologize to all our wonderful Family's, who don't deserve to have to deal with this, we hate it too!!! We really like doing it on a one to one trust basis, but recent inquires of a distasteful nature has forced us to comply with general standards of the Breeding Practice. We will still serve you with the very best service possible, as well as Honesty, and Respect.
All of us at,
Cantrell Family Pets
We give No health guarantees on micro's of any kind.
First you must understand that Micro's aren't suppose to be in the first place.
Secondly you must understand that they were ABNORMALY small, that alone lends itself to unforeseen complications.
They are both Rare and unusual. You must except that as part of who they are. They have No rules!! We can not guarantee their health, development, growth, or personality's.
If you have searched out and have purchased or are considering purchasing a micro, you should already know that you are seeking out the unusual, and unique, and that sometimes means health issues. Micro's almost always have open Fonts, (known as soft spots), That is something that is normal in small Chihuahuas and other tiny dogs and is just part of being Micro tiny and delicate.
Micro's are NOT a child's dog!!!! They can not be dropped!!!!! They can not fall !!!!! They have toothpick sized bones and have to be treated like porcelain. If you do not except the full responsibility for such an animal, DO NOT BUY IT!!!!
Micro's are NOT a TYPE of puppy, nor is Teacup , TinyTea cup, or Toy. But rather a "term" used by breeders to DISCRIBE the size of the dog. It IS NOT a BREED or Standard.
ALL Micro females are sold with Limited registrations. They are NOT suitable for breeding EVER!! Micro males can be purchased with open Registrations for an extra fee.
Cantrell Family Pets are not to be held responsible for any kind of Vet Bills in relation to the purchase, or any other health issue period.
WE WILL guarantee that they will be free of worms and free of diseases. These are issues we will ALWAYS address in any pets gotten from any of Cantrell Family Pets siblings or cousins.
Thank You,
Cantrell Family Pets

Before you buy a Pomeranian or Chihuahua , there are a few things you should know.
#1) First , and most important, they are not Children's toys. They are tiny and fragile and they can not handle the stress of playing with small children under the age of 12. Never leave a tiny puppy alone with a small child ever.
When asked, "Are Chihuahuas safe for kids"?. You should really be asking "Is your kid safe for a Chihuahua?" My answer is, it depends on the personality of the pup, and the gentleness and age of the Chihuahua. Young children should not be left alone with pups. Older Chihuahuas that have been raised near children do much better. 1, 2 and 3 year olds should not have small dogs, as they hurt them unintentionally.
#2) Never buy a tiny puppy if you do not have time to spend with them. Small dogs like Poms and Chihuahuas can play real hard and then pass out from low blood sugar. They must eat often and have time for naps. They should eat about every four hours, leaving food down for the night.
#3) Play sessions should be no more them 30 minutes long and no more then three times a day.
#4) They cannot be dropped. Ever!
#5) You should have Nutri-cal twice daily until they are at least six months old.
#6) As To Price- if you are looking for a certain price range be up front and honest with the breeder as far what your price expectations are. I do not advertise my pups/dogs in local newspapers ect... and I do not offer dogs for sale at $300.00... you can expect to pay on average $800.00 + for pets and $2500.00 + for show quality dogs.
Thank You,
